Ho-Ho-Hollywood Does It Again

The Hollywood Christmas Parade was held on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 in Hollywood, Calif. and was the 82^nd annual event. There were a host of balloons, television and movie vehicles, characters and floats for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s festivities encompassed a wide array of musical talent including Stevie Wonder, Daughtry, LeAnn Rimes. Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, was the Grand Marshal. The co-hosts for the extravaganza were Laura Mckenzie and Erik Estrada. William Shatner and other celebrities entertained as well.

With about 1 million spectators each year, the parade is an unforgettable experience. Although it did get chilly toward the end of the event, the weather was beautiful throughout. There was minimal cloud cover in the nighttime sky helping the blimps, helicopters and drones because the visibility was excellent.
